EK UMMID (GHAR SE DOOR PADHNE KE LIYE JAATI LADKI KE NAAM)

Ghar babul ka chodh vatan se door jaate hue

Kyu pareshan ho, naye kuch geet gaate hue ?

Tune socha bhi kabhi apni un maao ko

Chaakri karti thi jo chodh in fazaao ko

Peehar mai ‘paraya dhan’ kehlati thi

‘Pati ka ghar’ kabhi apna na keh pati thi

Ghar se wo nikalti thi dulhan ban kar

Bali ko maveshi jaate hain saj dhaj kar

Naye dyar mai ghut ghut ke mar jaati thi

Mayke se par koi bhi sada na aati thi

Tum meri mata-e-arazu;

Asman ke sitare par nazar tikaye, safar ke liye nikli ho

Mustaqbil ko sitaro se, jagmagane ke liye nikli ho

Mard ki ghulami se zamane ko, chudhane ke liye nikli ho

Ek nayi duniya naya jahaan basane ke liye nikli ho

Teri ankho mai dekhe hain sholey maine

Ashk ankho ke teri na seh paaunga main

In sholo se phunk dena hai ye mardana nizam

Tu haaregi to khud hi haar jaaunga main

Ghar babul ka chodh vatan se door jaate vhue

Nayi subah dhundte, naye suraj kayi jalate hue

Asmaan mai udne ke liye jaa

Phir baras jaane ke liye jaa

Nadiya mai behne ke liye jaa

Samandar ho jaane ke liye jaa

Apni hasti dikhlane ke liye jaa

Naye daur o zamane ke liye jaa

‘Bahut suna liya duniya nai tujhe

Ab apni kahani sunane ke liye jaa’
